1. About Lotegrity

Lotegrity is a Shopify application operated under the Verluno brand in the United States. Lotegrity provides lot and batch traceability, receiving records, inventory allocation, expiration management, quality controls, recall workflows, and related operational history for Shopify merchants.

2. Information Lotegrity processes

Shopify store information

When a merchant installs Lotegrity, the app receives information necessary to authenticate and connect to the merchant's Shopify store. This can include the Shopify store domain, application session information, authorized access scopes, and related technical identifiers.

Product and inventory information

Lotegrity accesses Shopify information required to provide its inventory traceability features. Depending on the feature being used, this can include product and variant identifiers, SKUs, inventory item identifiers, inventory quantities, and Shopify location identifiers.

Order and fulfillment information

To allocate fulfilled inventory to tracked lots and maintain traceability history, Lotegrity may process Shopify order and fulfillment identifiers, order names or numbers, fulfillment line-item identifiers, quantities, inventory-item identifiers, variants, SKUs, and fulfillment locations.

Lotegrity is not designed to store Shopify customer names, customer email addresses, customer phone numbers, billing addresses, or shipping addresses in its operational traceability database.

Information entered or generated in Lotegrity

Merchants may create or generate operational records within Lotegrity. These records can include lot or batch identifiers, expiration dates, receiving information, inventory balances, quality cases, recall records, inventory isolation records, fulfillment allocations, notes, status information, and audit events.

Technical information

We may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and maintain Lotegrity, such as application logs, webhook identifiers, request information, error records, and timestamps.

3. How we use information

We use information processed through Lotegrity to:

• Provide and operate Lotegrity's traceability features.
• Track lot and batch inventory across Shopify inventory locations.
• Process receiving, fulfillment allocation, expiration, quality, and recall workflows.
• Maintain operational and audit history requested by merchants.
• Authenticate stores and maintain authorized Shopify connections.
• Protect the service, investigate errors, and prevent duplicate or incorrect inventory processing.
• Respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal and privacy obligations.

4. Shopify API access

Lotegrity requests Shopify API permissions only for functions needed to operate the application. These currently include access to products, inventory, inventory locations, orders, fulfillments, and permission to update inventory where required by Lotegrity's inventory-control workflows.

Shopify controls the authorization process and displays requested permissions to merchants when the app is installed or when permissions change.

5. Customer privacy requests

Shopify can send Lotegrity privacy requests relating to a customer's data when required by applicable privacy laws. Lotegrity authenticates these Shopify requests and processes information associated with the identifiers supplied by Shopify.

Because Lotegrity's traceability database is designed not to retain customer names, customer email addresses, phone numbers, billing addresses, or shipping addresses, the customer-linked records maintained by Lotegrity are generally limited to operational Shopify order and fulfillment references used for traceability.

Where a valid deletion request applies, Lotegrity will delete or de-identify information as appropriate while preserving information that must be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational-integrity purposes where permitted by law.

6. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information is disclosed only as necessary to operate Lotegrity, provide the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the service or its users, or work with service providers that support Lotegrity's hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and operational needs.

Shopify independently processes information under Shopify's own agreements and privacy practices.

7. Data storage and security

Lotegrity uses hosted infrastructure and database services to operate the application. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Data retention

We retain merchant and operational information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Lotegrity, maintain traceability and audit functionality, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the service, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Following uninstall, Shopify may send Lotegrity a shop-data deletion request. Subject to information that may lawfully need to be retained, data associated with that Shopify store will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with the applicable request and our retention obligations.

9. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the information they enter into Lotegrity and for using Lotegrity in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Shopify requirements, and their own privacy obligations to customers and other individuals.

Merchants should avoid entering unnecessary personal or sensitive information into free-text fields, lot notes, quality records, recall records, or other operational fields.

10. International processing

Lotegrity is operated from the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate infrastructure, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Lotegrity, our practices, Shopify requirements, or applicable law. When we make material updates, we will update the effective date shown on this page.
